This work dates back to when I was working in Tokyo. This poster was designed for Tokyu Hands, one of the biggest home supply stores in Japan. They have thousands of home products and supplies ranging from tiny stationary goods to lumber. The poster shows a lot of supplies through simple pictograms. Some of complex supplies were not easy to translated to simple pictograms, like recliner chairs, stained glass and so on. However when those are successfully simplified and translated as clean icons, the speed of information communication is so quick and easy. That's what graphic design is there for.
